Carpool Fee Adjustments

With the steep decline in the price of gasoline, the NVHC Officers have notified the hike leaders to suggest to the volunteer carpool drivers to offer their passengers a 40% reduction to the suggested carpool fee on the NVHC Hiking Schedule.

Due to the volatility of gas prices we do not plan to adjust the rates in the schedule, either online or in print, for the foreseeable future. They will remain at the higher rates.

We may adjust the reduction percent in the future as needed.
